A nd thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

Fiul omului, ia o bucată de lemn, şi scrie pe ea:, Pentru Iuda şi pentru copiii lui Israel, cari sînt tovarăşii lui.` Ia apoi o altă bucată de lemn, şi scrie pe ea:,, Pentru Iosif, lemnul lui Efraim, şi pentru toată casa lui Israel, care este tovarăşa lui.``
