T here is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living, and have borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

Là est Élam, avec toute sa multitude, Autour est son sépulcre; Tous sont morts, sont tombés par l'épée; Ils sont descendus incirconcis dans les profondeurs de la terre, Eux qui répandaient la terreur dans le pays des vivants, Et ils ont porté leur ignominie vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.
