I n thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have cleansed thee and thou wast not cleansed, thou shalt not be cleansed from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my wrath toward thee to rest.

»Tú, Jerusalén, sufrirás por tu impureza y tu lujuria. Yo te limpié, pero tú no has querido limpiarte de tu impureza. Por eso, ¡no volverás a limpiarte, hasta que yo haya calmado mi enojo contra ti.
