J erusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is become as an unclean thing; All that honored her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: Yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward.

Greu de păcătuit Ierusalimul! De aceea a ajuns de scîrbă. Toţi cei ce -l preţuiau îl dispreţuiesc acum, văzîndu -i goliciunea, şi el însuş se întoarce în altă parte şi oftează.
