A ll her people sigh, they seek bread; They have given their pleasant things for food to refresh the soul: See, O Jehovah, and behold; for I am become abject.

Toţi cei din popor suspină, căutând după mâncare. Ei şi-au dat bogăţiile pentru mâncare, ca să-şi păstreze viaţa. Priveşte, Doamne, şi ia aminte la cât sunt de dispreţuită!
