W hy then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

فَلِماذا يَستَمِرُّ هَذا الشَّعبُ فِي الابتِعادِ عَنِّي؟ وَلِماذا تَواصِلُ القُدسُ ارتِدادها عَنِّي؟ إنَّهُمْ يَتَمَسَّكُونَ بِالخِداعِ، وَيَرفُضُونَ التَّوبَةَ.
