W ith more than the weeping of Jazer will I weep for thee, O vine of Sibmah: thy branches passed over the sea, they reached even to the sea of Jazer: upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage the destroyer is fallen.

O vigna di Sibmah, io piango per te come si piange per Jazer; i tuoi tralci sono giunti oltre il mare, arrivavano fino al mare di Jazer. Il devastatore è piombato sui tuoi frutti d'estate e sulla tua vendemmia.
