B ut they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.

لَكِنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَستَمِعُوا إلَيَّ، وَلَمْ يَفتَحُوا آذانِهِمْ، لِيَتُوبُوا عَنِ شَرِّهِمْ، وَيَتَوَقَّفُوا عَنْ تَقديمِ القَرابِينَ لآلِهَةٍ أُخرَى.
