Jeremiah 42:18 ~ Geremia 42:18

F or thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: As mine anger and my wrath hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall my wrath be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt; and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.

Poiché cosí dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: "Come la mia ira e il mio furore si sono riversati sugli abitanti di Gerusalemme, cosí il mio furore si riverserà su di voi, quando entrerete in Egitto, e voi diventerete un oggetto di esecrazione, di stupore, di maledizione e di obbrobrio e non vedrete piú questo luogo".
