A nd I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorcement, yet treacherous Judah her sister feared not; but she also went and played the harlot.

Viu também que dei à infiel Israel uma certidão de divórcio e a mandei embora, por causa de todos os seus adultérios. Entretanto, a sua irmã Judá, a traidora, também se prostituiu, sem temor algum.
