F or the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, thou hast broken as in the day of Midian.

Fiindcă jugul ce-i apăsa, drugul de pe umerii lor şi toiagul asupritorului lor, le-ai zdrobit Tu ca în ziua înfrângerii lui Midian.
