W ho gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not Jehovah? he against whom we have sinned, and in whose ways they would not walk, neither were they obedient unto his law.

Chi ha abbandonato Giacobbe al saccheggio e Israele in balìa dei predoni? Non è stato forse il Signore ? Colui contro il quale abbiamo peccato, nelle cui vie non si è voluto camminare e alla cui legge non si è ubbidito?
