B ut Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master, and to thee, to speak these words? hath he not sent me to the men that sit upon the wall, to eat their own dung, and to drink their own water with you?

Dar Rab-Şache le- a zis: – Oare, stăpânului vostru şi vouă, m-a trimis stăpânul meu să spun aceste cuvinte? Oare nu m-a trimis la oamenii aceştia, care stau pe zid şi care, asemenea vouă, vor trebui să-şi mănânce propriile murdării şi să-şi bea propriul ud?
