T he highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: the enemy hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth not man.

Las calzadas están desiertas, el viajero ya no pasa. Ha quebrantado el pacto, ha despreciado las ciudades, No tiene en estima al hombre.
