T herefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun-images shall rise no more.

Así pues, con esto la iniquidad de Jacob será perdonada, Y éste será todo el fruto del perdón de su pecado: Cuando haga todas las piedras del altar como piedras de cal pulverizadas; Cuando no estén en pie las Aseras y los altares de incienso.
