F or the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

La città fortificata sarà desolata, un luogo disabitato e abbandonato come un deserto; là vi pascolerà il vitello, vi si coricherà e ne divorerà i rami.
