A nd Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

وَبابِلُ – الَّتِي هِيَ أجمَلُ مَمالِكِ الأرْضِ وَمَجدُ الكِلدانِيِّينَ وَفَخرُهُمْ – سَتَكُونُ مِثلَ سَدُومَ وَعَمُورَةَ حِينَ دَمَّرَهُما اللهُ.
