T ake heed to thyself, lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goest, lest it be for a snare in the midst of thee:

Să nu cumva să faci legămînt cu locuitorii ţării unde ai să intri, ca să nu fie o cursă pentru tine, dacă vor locui în mijlocul tău.
