t hey have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed unto it, and said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

si sono presto sviati dalla strada che io avevo loro ordinato di seguire; si son fatti un vitello di metallo fuso, l’hanno adorato, gli hanno offerto sacrifici e hanno detto: “O Israele, questo è il tuo dio che ti ha fatto uscire dal paese d’Egitto”».
