A nd it came to pass at midnight, that Jehovah smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the first-born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first-born of cattle.

Prandaj ndodhi që në mesnatë Zoti goditi tërë të parëlindurit në vendin e Egjiptit, që nga i parëlinduri i Faraonit që rrinte mbi fronin e tij, deri te i parëlinduri i të burgosurit që ishte në burg, si dhe çdo pjellë e parë e bagëtive.
