Esther 9:22 ~ Ê-xơ-tê 9:22

a s the days wherein the Jews had rest from their enemies, and the month which was turned unto them from sorrow to gladness, and from mourning into a good day; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor.

vì trong ngày và tháng ấy dân Giu-đa đã thoát khỏi kẻ thù nghịch mình và được bình an, sự đau đớn đổi ra mừng rỡ, và ngày buồn thảm hóa ra ngày lễ; lại bảo họ lập thành ngày tiệc yến và vui mừng, gởi cho lẫn nhau những lễ vật, và bố thí cho người nghèo khổ.
