T herefore do the Jews of the villages, that dwell in the unwalled towns, make the fourteenth day of the month Adar a day of gladness and feasting, and a good day, and of sending portions one to another.

Per questo i Giudei della campagna che abitano in città senza mura fanno del quattordicesimo giorno del mese di Adar un giorno di gioia, di banchetti e di festa, e in cui si mandano regali gli uni agli altri.
