T hen took Haman the apparel and the horse, and arrayed Mordecai, and caused him to ride through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, Thus shall it be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honor.

Haman a luat mantia şi calul, l-a îmbrăcat pe Mardoheu şi l-a plimbat călare pe cal prin piaţeta cetăţii, strigând înaintea lui: „Aşa se cuvine să se facă omului pe care împăratul doreşte să-l onoreze!“
