Esther 2:7 ~ Ester 2:7

A nd he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maiden was fair and beautiful; and when her father and mother were dead, Mordecai took her for his own daughter.

Y había criado a Hadasa, es decir, a Ester, hija de su tío, porque era huérfana. La joven era de hermosa figura y de buen parecer. Cuando su padre y su madre murieron, Mardoqueo la adoptó como hija suya.
