F or in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherim, and the graven images, and the molten images.

他 作 王 第 八 年 ， 尚 且 年 幼 ， 就 寻 求 他 祖 大 卫 的 神 。 到 了 十 二 年 才 洁 净 犹 大 和 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 除 掉 邱 坛 、 木 偶 、 雕 刻 的 像 ， 和 铸 造 的 像 。
