B ecause they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore is my wrath poured out upon this place, and it shall not be quenched.

por cuanto me han dejado, y han ofrecido sacrificios a dioses ajenos, provocándome a ira con todas las obras de sus manos; por tanto, se derramará mi ira sobre este lugar, y no se apagará.
