G o ye, inquire of Jehovah for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found; for great is the wrath of Jehovah that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of Jehovah, to do according unto all that is written in this book.

«En cuanto a las palabras del libro que se ha hallado, vayan y consulten al Señor por mí y por el remanente de Israel y de Judá. Ciertamente, grande es la ira del Señor que ha caído sobre nosotros, pues nuestros padres no obedecieron la palabra del Señor, ni actuaron conforme a todo lo que está escrito en él.»
