A nd they forsook the house of Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and served the Asherim and the idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their guiltiness.

Şi au părăsit Casa Domnului, Dumnezeului părinţilor lor, şi au slujit Astarteelor şi idolilor. Mînia Domnului a venit asupra lui Iuda şi asupra Ierusalimului, pentrucă se făcuseră vinovaţi în felul acesta.
