A nd David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Jehovah must be exceeding magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

Đa-vít nói rằng: Sa-lô-môn, con trai ta, hãy còn thơ ấu và non nớt, mà cái đền sẽ cất cho Đức Giê-hô-va phải rất nguy nga, có danh tiếng rực rỡ trong các nước; vì vậy, ta sẽ dự bị đồ cần dùng cho nó. Thế thì, Đa-vít dự bị rất nhiều đồ trước khi người qua đời.
