A nd it was told David; and he gathered all Israel together, and passed over the Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array against them. So when David had put the battle in array against the Syrians, they fought with him.

Kur Davidi u njoftua për këtë gjë, mblodhi tërë Izraelin, kaloi Jordanin, marshoi kundër tyre dhe u vendos në rend beteje kundër tyre. Sapo Davidi u rreshtua në rend beteje kundër Sirëve, këta e filluan menjëherë betejën.
