N ow when Joab saw that the battle was set against him before and behind, he chose of all the choice men of Israel, and put them in array against the Syrians.

Y al ver Joab que el ataque contra él se había dispuesto por el frente y por la retaguardia, escogió a los mejores soldados israelitas, y con ellos se preparó para enfrentar a los sirios.
