A nd he brought out the Asherah from the house of Jehovah, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and beat it to dust, and cast the dust thereof upon the graves of the common people.

A scos stâlpul Aşerei din Casa Domnului şi l-a dus la uedul Chidron, în afara Ierusalimului; l-a ars lângă uedul Chidron, prefăcându-l în cenuşă şi i-a împrăştiat cenuşa pe mormintele fiilor poporului.
