A nd Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for Jehovah hath sent me as far as Beth-el. And Elisha said, As Jehovah liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Beth-el.

以 利 亞 對 以 利 沙 說 ： 耶 和 華 差 我 往 伯 特 利 去 ， 你 可 以 在 這 裡 等 候 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 我 指 著 永 生 的 耶 和 華 ， 又 敢 在 你 面 前 起 誓 ， 我 必 不 離 開 你 。 於 是 二 人 下 到 伯 特 利 。
