F or he rent Israel from the house of David; and they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king: and Jeroboam drove Israel from following Jehovah, and made them sin a great sin.

Căci atunci când El îl despărţise pe Israel de Casa lui David, ei îl puseseră rege pe Ieroboam, fiul lui Nebat, cel care l-a înstrăinat pe Israel de Domnul şi l-a făcut să săvârşească un mare păcat.
