A nd Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

E Menaém, filho de Gadi, subindo de Tirza, veio a Samária; feriu a Salum, filho de Jabes, em Samária, matou-o e reinou em seu lugar.
