f rom the Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.

وَاسْتَولَى عَلَى كُلِّ أرْضِ جِلْعادَ، أيْ الأراضِي الَّتِي كانَتْ لِعَشائِرِ جادَ وَرَأُوبَيْنَ وَمَنَسَّى. وَاسْتَولَى عَلَى كُلِّ الأرْضِ مِنْ عَرُوعِيرَ قُرْبَ وادِي أرنُونَ إلَى جِلْعادَ وَباشانَ. مَوْتُ ياهُو
