F or the cherubim spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and the staves thereof above.

فَظَلَّلَتْ أجْنِحَةُ المَلاكَينِ الكَرُوبَينِ الصُّنْدُوقَ، فَصارَ الكَروبانِ كَغِطاءٍ للصُّندُوقِ وَللقَضِيبَينِ اللَّذَينِ يُحمَلُ بِهِما.
