I t stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set upon them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.

Y descansaba sobre doce bueyes; tres miraban al norte, tres miraban al occidente, tres miraban al sur, y tres miraban al oriente; sobre éstos se apoyaba la gran pila, y las ancas de ellos estaban hacia la parte de adentro.
