1 Kings 3:6 ~ I Các Vua 3:6

A nd Solomon said, Thou hast showed unto thy servant David my father great lovingkindness, according as he walked before thee in truth, and in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with thee; and thou hast kept for him this great lovingkindness, that thou hast given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

Sa-lô-môn thưa rằng: Chúa đã lấy ơn lớn đãi kẻ tôi tớ Chúa, là Đa-vít, cha tôi, theo như người lấy sự trung tín, sự công bình và lòng ngay trọn vẹn mà đi trước mặt Đức Giê-hô-va; lại Chúa có giữ ơn lớn ấy cho người, mà ban cho người một con trai ngồi trên ngai của người, y như đã có ngày nay.
