A nd a man of God came near and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith Jehovah, Because the Syrians have said, Jehovah is a god of the hills, but he is not a god of the valleys; therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thy hand, and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

Se presentó entonces el varón de Dios ante el rey de Israel, y le dijo: «Así ha hablado Jehová: “Por cuanto los sirios han dicho: ‘Jehová es Dios de los montes, y no Dios de los valles’, yo entregaré toda esta gran multitud en tus manos, para que sepáis que yo soy Jehová.”»
