A nd the prophet came near to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest; for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

Então o profeta chegou-se ao rei de Israel e lhe disse: Vai, fortalece-te; atenta bem para o que hás de fazer; porque decorrido um ano, o rei da Síria subirá contra ti.
