a nd he took away the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king's house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

وَاستَولَى عَلَى كُنُوزِ بَيتِ اللهِ وَقَصْرِ المَلِكِ. حَتَّى إنَّهُ أخَذَ التُّرُوسَ الذَّهَبِيَّةَ الَّتِي أخَذَها داوُدُ مِنْ رِجالِ هَدَدَ عَزَرَ، مَلِكِ أرامَ. وَكانَ داوُدُ قَدْ أخَذَ هَذِهِ التُّرُوسَ إلَى مَدينَةِ القُدْسِ. فَأخَذَها شِيشَقُ كُلَّها.
