T hen king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the men subject to taskwork; and all Israel stoned him to death with stones. And king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Cuando el rey Roboam envió a Adoram, que estaba encargado de los tributos, todo Israel lo apedreó y lo mató. Entonces el rey Roboam se apresuró a subirse en un carro y huir a Jerusalén.
