A nd David said unto him, Fear not; for I will surely show thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

Y David le dijo: «No tengas miedo, que por el gran aprecio que le tenía a tu padre voy a tratarte con mucha bondad; voy también a devolverte las tierras que fueron de tu abuelo Saúl, y desde hoy te vas a sentar a mi mesa.»
