A nd David spake unto Jehovah when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done perversely; but these sheep, what have they done? let thy hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.

Entonces David habló al Señor, cuando vio al ángel que hería al pueblo, y dijo: He aquí, yo soy el que ha pecado, y yo soy el que ha hecho mal; pero estas ovejas, ¿qué han hecho ? Te ruego que tu mano caiga sobre mí y sobre la casa de mi padre.
