A nd when the angel stretched out his hand toward Jerusalem to destroy it, Jehovah repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough; now stay thy hand. And the angel of Jehovah was by the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite.

Ora, quando o anjo estendeu a mão sobre Jerusalém, para a destruir, o Senhor se arrependeu daquele mal; e disse ao anjo que fazia a destruição entre o povo: Basta; retira agora a tua mão. E o anjo do Senhor estava junto ã eira de Araúna, o jebuseu.
