A nd they knew not that Joseph understood them; for there was an interpreter between them.

وَلَمْ يَعرِفُوا أنَّ يُوسُفَ كانَ يَفْهَمُ ما يَقُولُونَ، لِأنَّهُ كانَ هُناكَ مُتَرْجِمٌ بَينَهُمْ وَبَينَهُ.
