Genesis 23:16 ~ ﺗﻜﻮﻳﻦ 23:16

A nd Abraham hearkened unto Ephron. And Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the audience of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant.

فَفَهِمَ إبْراهِيمُ أنَّ عِفْرُونَ يُريدُهُ أنْ يَسْمَعَ ثَمَنَ الأرْضِ. فَوَزَنَ لِعِفْرُونَ الفِضَّةَ الَّتِي حَدَّدَها عَلَى مَسْمَعٍ مِنْ رُؤَساءِ الحِثِّيِّينَ، أي أرْبَعَ مِئَةِ مِثْقالٍ مِنَ الفِضَّةِ حَسَبَ الأوْزانِ المُتَعارَفِ عَلَيها عِنْدَ التُّجّارِ.
