A nd Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the Plain of the Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before Jehovah destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of Jehovah, like the land of Egypt, as thou goest unto Zoar.

Lót bèn ngước mắt lên, thấy khắp cánh đồng bằng bên sông Giô-đanh, là nơi (trước khi Đức Giê-hô-va chưa phá hủy thành Sô-đôm và Gô-mô-rơ) thảy đều có nước chảy tưới khắp đến Xoa; đồng ó cũng như vườn của Đức Giê-hô-va và như xứ Ê-díp-tô vậy.
