A lso the mice of gold was according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines belonging to the five lords, both fortified cities and country villages. The great stone, on which they set the ark of the Lord, remains as a witness to this day in the field of Joshua of Beth-shemesh.

Dei topi d’oro ne offrirono tanti quante erano le città dei Filistei appartenenti ai cinque prìncipi, dalle fortezze ai villaggi di campagna che si estendono fino alla grossa pietra sulla quale fu posata l’arca del Signore, e che esiste ancora al giorno d’oggi nel campo di Giosuè, il Bet-Semita.
